o Rubber "sentience" ("awareness")
Dear Marla,
I've heard the term 'sentient life-form' bandied about over the years. I've often thought that was redundant. 'Sentient' means 'awareness'. And life is, by definition, aware of it's world. All living things are sentient.
Sentience. Awareness.
Rubber awareness. Rubber sentience.
I am particularly reminded that LatexLadyII (and her Sir) wanted to live a "rubber-centric" life. The idea was that the only thing that ever touched her skin is latex. All that she did or thought about must be somehow connected to rubber.
The concept of "Rubber sentience"
I wonder if I could do something like that. Maybe I could learn to focus my attention -- my consciousness -- on only four things (in descending order):
1.) The needs the entire milieu of my rubber fetish -- being continually aware of everything related to it in my forefront consciousness, especially the ongoing Presence of latex on my skin on all of my skin... (After all, It's all about Presence!)
2.) the needs of my body - eating, sleeping, bathing, etc.
3.) The needs of my friends (James, Lorraine, Sarah, etc.)
4.) The needs of my job as housekeeper of the Hahnestery.
Think of it as "rubber bathing" (qua Shinrin Yoku) with as few interruptions as possible.
That sounds like what James would call a "meaningful mountain to climb".
I'm working on wearing my rubber ~100%/100% as best I can. But even as I do that, my mind inevitably wanders. It is 99.999% impossible to be fully rubber-sentient ~100% of the time. Your mind makes in extremely difficult.
_Yoku: It's all about presence: filling your consciousness (mostly) with Rubber.
a "meaningful mountain to climb".
